my definition of success is Success is measured by how one handles himself/herself in times of adversity and is able to overcome it. It is not measured in dollar amounts or grades, but by attitude and drive. (Grades help and money is nice, too however)

about my career I have accepted a postion with my alma mater, Briar Cliff University, as a Transfer Admissions Representative. I will recruit transfer and international students.

I was recently a volunteer coordinator for Every Classroom Counts in Sioux City, a school based mentoring program. I recruited and placed volunteers into Sioux City schools.

When I started in July, 2008, we only had a grant and the idea. I was very active in creating this program from the ground up, and watching it grow made me very proud. The program had an immediate impact on the youth of Sioux City, Iowa.

people who've had the biggest impact on me Grandfather - Started as a Truck Driver for Well's Blue Bunny, and retired as the Executive Vice-President of Shipping and Distribution. His work ethic is what I model my life after.
