Hi jlansford. Until last week I was working in a boiler manufacturer, in the environmental area, in combustion measurement. This is a very interesting area, because there is a lot of problems to solve in the greenhouse emissions. Although I am considering various options, the environmental issue is very important because in my country, Colombia, there is biodiversity to protect.

Thanks for the compliment and the tip! Your profile is pretty impressive as well =). Also, I am taking a really interesting class about Plant/soil biology at the moment, but most of the time we talk about global environmental issues, and it has really got me hooked. The professor is fabulous and he is so passionate about the causes that he has really raised awareness around campus. Still, sometimes I feel that I lack the education and resources to truly help out and make an impact, myself. I am trying to do little things though, like change my light bulbs to the compact fluorescent bulbs, recycle, drive less, and try very hard to turn off the lights! I really understand what a mess weâ?Tve put ourselves in and that the only way to survive is to start getting ourselves outâ?¦now! Anyways, it has been great meeting you! Talk with you soon.

Hey there, thanks for the message. I am actually living in Chicago now, and going to the Art Institute Online. (Much more conveinant, but definitely more demanding than my land-based campus experience.) You are definitely in an industry that needs you! Keep it up.

You have a great page... I'm very impressed with your involvement in protecting the environment and energy conservation. And in answer to your question, Pugs and Papillions aren't that different-- they are both cute and little! Don't you think going from a Pug to a Rottweiler or Great Dane would be more of an extreme?
